iNET-II 900: Wireless IP / Ethernet Connectivity

iNET-II 900The iNET-II 900™ is an industrial Wireless solution designed for a mobile environment that provides long-distance unlicensed communications that allow users to interface with Ethernet and serial controllers with advanced cyber-security. The iNET Series combines the higher speed of Digital Transmission Systems (DTS) with the robustness of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology. The iNET-II 900™ allows customers to bring business information over Ethernet or a serial gateway and onto corporate networks. It generates mission-critical data from fixed assets (oil and gas wells, compressor stations, pipelines, fluid storage tanks, utility meters, etc.) and also enables portable network assets for vehicle based operations.
  • MDS iNET-II 900 uses advanced 900 MHz FHSS technology for license-free operation in the 902-928 MHz ISM band. It is capable of up to a 30 mile range and up to 1 mbps data range for IP/Ethernet communications.
  • The iNET-II 900 radio operates in the 900 MHz frequency band under the FCC rules for Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) equipment. Every system must have at least one access point service. You can choose between remote models that support serial only, Ethernet only, or both types of interfaces (4 dual gateways).
  • The iNET-II 900 handles concurrent Ethernet from multiple sources, directly addresses the integrated serial device server using industry-standard protocols (Telnet, TCP, UDP) and services as back-haul to MDS TransNET, SD, 4710, and 9710 radios.
  • Every iNET-II 900 radio includes an SNMP agent and can be managed by any SNMP based management system.
